Don't be taken by (Supposed) Heating Air Conditioning Contractors trying to upsell products. Cleaning your ac unit and furnace can prevent costly repairs. An annual complete clean from a contractor should be done every year before start up of the unit. Sometimes contractors will try and say your unit is completely shot or the compressor is burnt.
